Plugins

Everything in QuireInk is a plugin: the ones it comes with, and the ones people make for it. Folders of text files install on the reader; plugins with code need a build of their own.

To install

Folders of text files: they work on every device, the X4 included, and change nothing you set yourself.

    Bigger text in books and menus: a larger interface, a larger font and more space between lines.

Your own

A plugin of yours gets the same place here as QuireInk's own.

  1. Make it: a folder of text files, or a Rust crate against the SDK. How to write a plugin
  2. Publish it: a ZIP of the folder, for example as a release on GitHub.
  3. Tell us its address and its SHA-256; it is checked, and once it passes it appears here and in the reader. Submissions by pull request follow when the catalogue's repository opens. Until then: quireink@hthoene.de
